GENERAL INFORMATION

Orange County Wholesale Flowers is one of the largest and most reliable fresh flower wholesalers in Orange County, CA. We are committed to deliver and ship the finest quality cut flowers to flower shops, floral designers, hotels, caterers, floral design schools and event professionals nationwide.
Orange County Wholesale Flowers maintains a broad network of growers and logistic companies who share the same values and principles in order to satisfy your floral requests.

Customer Registration

Since our company strongly supports the floral industry in order to purchase from Orange County Wholesale Flowers you must register your business by submitting a complete registration form (available at the front counter or via fax) along with a copy of the State Board of Equalization Sellers Permit.

You will receive a Membership Card within five to seven business days. Your card will be used only for identification purposes and will allow you or your employees to make future purchases. Please bring your card every time. If you are a floral design student, we need a copy of your valid Student ID Card signed by you’re floral instructor.

Hours

Our warehouse is open Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm and Saturday from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Calls after these hours will be forwarded to our voice mail system, and will be answered promptly when we resume business hours.

We encourage you to pick up orders no later than 2:00pm Monday through Friday and no later than 1:00pm on Saturdays.

Our people are trained to fill any special request, routine or difficult; they can suggest a wide range of choices and solutions. We can also help you educate your customers, providing you with the current floral trends, seasonal availability, and much more!

Strict Quality Standards

O C Wholesale Flowers ensures its customers the best quality and freshness of our flowers by bringing you only 1st Grade Quality product, our customers should expect consistent quality and service each and every week, meaning:

• You get to choose the colors and sizes you want.
• You’ll get the strongest, the tallest and most uniform stems.
• More and larger blooms per stem.

We receive product daily, with morning and evening shipments, from Southern and Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia,  Hawaii, Thailand, Holland, New Zealand, Australia, Costa Rica, Italy and many more places from around the world. Upon arrival our receiving personnel are trained to inspect every flower shipment to ensure that the product meets our quality standards. If it doesn’t the product is returned to the supplier.

Enhancing your In-House Shopping Experience

•    Due to the nature of our business we don’t have shopping carts in our warehouse. (Flowers get damaged easily when they’re put in a shopping cart, also our flower’s display on the floor could get damaged due to lack of space) shopping carts from surrounding stores are not allowed in our warehouse, please bring your selection of flowers to the front counter for check out, or ask an associate if further assistance is needed.

•    To serve you faster and more efficiently, please have your Membership Card ready at the time for check out.

•    Due to the rapid inventory turn over, most of the flowers in our warehouse are not priced. Please ask an associate for assistance or bring your flower selection to the front counter.

•    Flowers purchased from the bargain corner are sold “as is”.

•    If you are driving for longer than 30 minutes, we recommend you to transport your flowers in water to preserve their freshness. To help you get the most out of your flowers, we have buckets available for sale at the front counter.

•    Please help us keep our prices low by not dripping water on the flowers, since this will cause mold and damage to the flowers.

•    For respect to the rest of our customers we don’t allow pets in our premises with the exception of guide dogs.

•    We also carry Indoor plants.

•    Volume discounts apply, for more information please check with one of our sales associates.

•    We enjoy having your kids in our warehouse; our staff knows how much children love flowers. However, for their own safety, we have thought of a few simple rules to give them an unforgettable experience:

o    For their own safety, children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the cooler.
o    Please supervise your children at all times and keep them from running in the warehouse, you are responsible for any damaged flowers due to children misbehavior.
o    Watch out for “Wet Floor” signs, the floor is slippery when wet.

Privacy Policy

O C Wholesale Flowers is committed to maintaining your absolute privacy and will not distribute your private information to anyone for any reason. Your private information will not be used for any purpose other than to process your orders and to provide a more personalized shopping experience.


PRE-ORDERS


For special events requiring Domestic Product (California grown flowers), we require you to place your order at least five to seven (5-7) working days prior to your desired pickup, delivery or shipping date.


For Foreign Product from New Zealand, Thailand or South America, your order must be submitted at least 10 days in advance.

If you have received a last minute order call us at 714.542.6181, most likely we’ll be able to complete you’re order; with an average inventory of $ 30,000 on flowers we have most products on hand.

All orders must be submitted by 1:00pm PST to be processed on that date. Orders received after 1:00pm PST will be processed on the following business day.

Depending on your “help” situation, we highly recommend you to plan your pick up or delivery date two (2) days prior to your event, that will give you time to open and process your flowers as needed.

Orders can be placed up to 60 days in advance.

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimated amount is required on orders over $100.

Changes to an Order:

If you like to modify your order involving  California grown flowers, please give us at least 5 days prior to your delivery date, or 7 days if involves imported product. No cancellations will be accepted with out proper notification of at least 5 days in advance.

Order Cancellations:

All cancelled orders will be assessed a 5 % restocking fee of the amount of the order, or a non refund on the deposit which ever is greater. There are no exceptions to Orange County Wholesale Flowers’ Cancellation Policy.

Substitutions:

At times, Mother Nature can be unpredictable. If due to crop failure or poor weather conditions a particular flower, size or color choice is not available; our staff will contact you immediately after a grower’s confirmation to let you know of possible substitutes for your order. It’s a good idea to have second choices in mind.

Colors, shapes, and sizes may vary depending of the grower or season, please consider this when placing your order based on a color you’ve seeing in a magazine or a design book. For instance: Akito Roses from Ecuador are not the same size and shape as a domestic Akito Roses.

CREDIT / RETURN POLICY

Customer Claims:

We only carry 1st grade quality products, but we do realize how unpredictable perishables can be. If our product does not meet your expectations, please contact us within 24 hrs. If you call after hours please leave us a message in our voicemail system at 714 542-6181 or fax you’re claim at 714-542-4957.  Along with an explanation in writing, we need a copy of your receipt or invoice.


All claims must be made within 24 hours of receiving goods. Claims made after 24 hours of receipt of product, will not be accepted and will be considered accepted “as is”. Claims may only be deducted from account balance due if approved in advance by Orange County Wholesale Flowers.

Because of our self-imposed strict standards, we take the issue of credits very seriously. We realize that we distribute live items and there may be times when Orange County Wholesale Flowers is unaware of a problem until after the product has left the warehouse. A replacement or credit will be issued for any legitimate request due to quality issues. Orange County Wholesale Flowers may ask for your assistance with pictures, date and time of delivery, and possibly the return of the products in order to identify possible problems.

Orange County Wholesale Flowers will not be responsible for products mishandled by customers. Complete flower care instructions are posted online at: www.ocwholesaleflowers.com as a courtesy. It is the customer’s responsibility to know how to properly care for the products they are ordering.

Once the flowers have left our warehouse, we have relinquished control of handling; any distress to the flowers related to transportation conditions cannot be our responsibility. Please, always check your flowers before leaving our premises.


TERMS OF SALE



New accounts pay COD on invoice the first 30 days. After 30-day period, the customer may be placed in a weekly C.O.D. term, where you will be able to charge for purchases on a weekly basis, paying in full on the beginning of the following week. After 8 weeks have passed on a weekly C.O.D term, the customer may be placed on a net 30 Day Account with Orange County Wholesale Flowers’ approval.

30 Day Accounts:

At Orange County Wholesale Flowers we are committed in helping our customers being successful.  A way of helping is by offering an open account for 30 days to selective customers.

Completion of a credit application is required for all 30 Day Account requests. After processing and approval, notification of acceptance will be sent and your business will be placed on our monthly billing cycle.

30 Day Accounts are billed for any charges occurred from the 1st to the 31st of the previous month, with the balance being due in full by the 15th of the following month.

Please notice that one and a half percent (1 ½%) per month will be charged on any unpaid balance over 60 days following date of invoice (18% annually)

Past Due Accounts:

Past due accounts will be contacted by our credit department to arrange a satisfactory payment schedule. If credit terms are not met, future purchases may be allowed on a COD basis only.

Payment:

We accept company checks, bank checks, Travelers checks, American Express, VISA and MasterCard and COD.
Checks returned for insufficient funds will incur a $ 35 charge.

Weekly C.O.D. Term Accounts and Net 30 Day Accounts paying with credit card must submit a completed Credit Card Authorization form. (Enclosed)

Name/Ownership Change:

Orange County Wholesale Flowers must be notified if an existing account changes its name or is sold. The new owner will be allowed to charge purchases only after submittal and approval of new credit application.
